i was a sales promoter for CASIO cameras for once! i mean 1st time in my life i actually did sales job at IT SHOW, Suntec. it was amazing. i see how people promote. i see how customers react. i see throngs of people from all walks of life and all ages of cos. i never want to be a sales promoter since im not good at persuading/psychoing/communicating effectively but now, i can tell u i sold at least 5sets. hahaha!
However, i tasted this feeling of contentment whenever customers went 'okay, i want this.' 'i think i wanna buy.' 'so u're getting the commission rite, can i hav your name?' 'i'll come back to u again' when they really did come back for me! they searched for me when i was running here and there. These 3-in-1 family. This White+Black Guy. These husband n wife. These 2 ladies. This particular 1 uncle.
He stood still looking at the Casio poster. there i went, performing some functions to let him understand, specially the video mode. without hesitation, he said that he wanted the $399 casio camera in a very unconvincing tone. i asked him again, he said 'u dun trust me?'
it was really great facing Singaporean customers. Even though they were reluctant to take flyers from me, they still smiled. Wearing that casio jersey made me look professional when i am only a beginner, when i only got to touch that $399 camera for just 5hrs.
When people asked about other cameras (which are more pricey) , i couldnt explain to them. i have no clue abt those cameras. den i always push to Su er. quite sad. HAA.
My sis and i left the booth at 5.30pm. went Holland V for dinner with weng, dajie&yc, erjie and sally. Ate Garlic rice! quite nice! $6, not cheap ok? after that weng went back camp, left us ... went to HAAGEN DAZS eat. 5 ppple = $80. EXPENSIVE LA. MORE EX THAN DINNER. :@
